Tuesday Talks #3 - Depression is Lethal n Self-Murder is Illegal !

Tuesday Talks #3 - Depression is Lethal n Self Murder is Illegal !
(This topic had been suggested by a regular and lovely reader - Neelakshi ๐Ÿ˜Š)

As I always say depression is nothing but the overflow of 'trash thoughts'. Why do you need to worry about something you don't even know will happen? Depression is lethal because it kills you every second, it kills you mentally and you kill yourself physically. Why? Just because of a few people who don't understand your feelings or just because of your failures or just because of what other people think or will think about you. STOP! I say stop right now. You are a HUMAN. You are a human. You are a human. I wrote it thrice to make you realise how valuable that word is and more valuable is its availability to you. Our ancestors already told us that a soul has to get filled in so many vessels, so many, 84,00,000. So do you realise your worth? Your mission here is not to simply live for yourself but you have to live for that every being whom God has made. You are here for a purpose, for a change. Believe me, no one else can do, what you are made for. Even a bacterium lives its life for 20 minutes. So short! but you have time. Time is your only friend and enemy, it stays with you forever, from the time you are born to the time of your end. Everywhere! So neither waste your human form nor your time. Remember TIMES CHANGE.

I would like to mention a line from the famous, celebrated and iconic poet late Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan Ji (which was given as a piece of advice to his son during his struggle days), "เคฎเคจ เค•ा เคนो เคคो เค…เคš्เค›ा, เคจ เคนो เคคो เค”เคฐ เคญी เค…เคš्เค›ा เค•्เคฏोंเค•ि เคซिเคฐ เคตो เคˆเคถเคตเคฐ เค•े เคฎเคจ เค•ा เคนोเคคा เคนै।" (I won't translate it in English because I think the meaning is complete and more original in Hindi itself.)

Ways to eliminate 'trash thoughts' from your mind:-

#5
Write diaries.
When I was in sixth grade, I started writing a diary (but not now as now I convey my feelings through my poems) (but sometimes I do write). When I did not have anyone at school to talk to (all my friends were in different sections), I wrote my diary. I'll put its picture someday as well. It gives you a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment when you read it after years that you did it, you did it and came through the hardships. So if you don't feel like talking to anyone about your problem, write it somewhere and then do as much 'kalakari' as you can on it, put crosses, lines, etc. and then crush that piece of paper and put it in the soil. OR Write your problem anywhere and keep it there where you think someone who cares for you can read it. OR Communicate it to God, He will never leave you whether in good times or bad times.

#4
See the trees and plants around you
I love doing that. When you watch nature around you, you feel calm, you feel pacified. That green hue looks beautiful to the eyes. Whenever someone scolds me, I don't react back (most of the times). I write poems and draw inspiration from trees. I love it when the leaves move slightly in the cool breeze. The golden rays of the Sun sit on the leaves so beautifully. The squirrels and sparrows look so good when the play. Just observe all these phenomena. They are magical, magical for you, your mind and your body.

#3
Listen to your favourite music or songs
When I listen to my all-time favourite songs, I feel inspired. I don't know why but I feel as if I'll win the world after listening to these songs. I am revealing a secret today! I love to hear เคกाเค•ू like songs! Songs which have some sort of bandits in them. ๐Ÿ˜‚ (I don't know why) My favourite song is "Dollar" by Sidhu Moosewala, then comes "Bambiha Bole" by Amrit Mann and Sidhu Moosewala, then"Cold Water" by Justin Beiber, then "No Need" by Karan Aujla and then "Breathin'" by Ariana Grande. Even "Jatti Jeohne Morh Wargi" by Sidhu Moosewala (n Sonam Bajwa). You can see my favourite songs and music list on my profile. Sorry, I got off the topic! So songs and music make you feel better and rejuvenated.

Bambiha Bole..๐Ÿ˜Ž

#2
Read motivational poems
(like mine๐Ÿ˜œ)
When I read the poetry of old, celebrated Hindi poets, I feel them inside me. They are just remarkable. (Late) Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Gulzar, Javed Akhtar are few to be named. Their words speak the truth n you can feel the feelings inside. Even I write poems when I am sad (actually most of the time I write poems when I am sad) (เค—เคฎ เคจे เคฎुเคे เค•เคตिเคค्เคฐी เคฌเคจा เคฆिเคฏा! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œ)  I think you can relate to the deep meanings in the poem when you

#1
Practise yoga n connect with God
As I always say, life is not a race, it is a chance for us to go back where we came from-The Supreme Soul. When you practise yoga asanas, your mind, body n soul balance and try to connect with The Supreme Soul. So what if you got fewer marks in exams, so what if you did not win the competition, so what if you did not get a good chance as others, so what if someone betrayed you, so what if you don't have money...............???...CHILL! You have GOD. He is always with us. Yoga helps us to cure each n every problem of and in our body may it be anger or depression. You should do pranayamas every day to control your anger, tension and suicidal thoughts as a result of these two demons. You can read my Yoga Special Blog here.

Two more posts of your เค•ाเคฎ ...

So guys if u r humans, I am sure u won't ignore this post n if u care for me, I am sure, you will comment n share your feelings...NEVER KEEP YOUR เคฆुเค–เคก़े INSIDE U...I know it hurts...For your convenience, u can translate this post into any language from the Translate button on the right side...I hope it helps n reaches who really needs this!

Thank you PAPA !

To The #1 Dad

Pita Ji (เจชਿเจคਾ เจœੀ)     Bhaaeeya (เจญਾเจˆเจ†)      Bapu Ji (เจฌਾเจชੂ เจœੀ)
    |                            |                              |
Daddy                  Daddy                   Daddy
    |                            |                              |
Papa                        Papa                      Dad

Over a few days, I was wondering and pondering that there are so many different names for both mom and dad everywhere yet their love for us is the same. This blog post will not be a general one as my posts usually are whereas this will be a post dedicated to my papa, Vadde papa, Billu papa, fufa jis and maasar jis because all of them are a fatherly figure for me.

Papa's Dada Ji
I'll start with my great grandfather (papa's dada Ji) ( papa's paternal grandpa). His name was a farmer. He worked so hard for his family and managed his life well.

My Dada Ji
Next, I'll talk about my paternal grandpa (dada ji). I must say, he was a very, very hardworking man. My father, uncles and bhuas say that he was a strict person but a caring father. He hailed from a village of Punjab, Mahilpur. After marriage, he and his wife (my dadi) settled in Jalandhar city. He was such a hardworking man that he and dadi raised eight children! He had a small shop when he started but he educated his boys and girls to the maximum that he could. They completed their college. Today my father and uncles are flourishing businessmen, one of them is a lawyer. SO A FATHER ALWAYS WORKS VERY HARD TO GIVE HIS CHILDREN WHATEVER HE CAN. I respect my dada Ji a lot. Though he is not with us today but I am sure, he must be watching us from Above.

My Vadde Papa, Billu Papa and Papa
After that my Vadde papa, Billu Papa and papa. They all are very hardworking. They work for us day and night, for fulfiling our wishes. When I am confused about something, they help me in deciding the correct path and when I want something, they bring that for me. I LOVED IT WHEN VADDE PAPA CALLED ME BHUTO, WHEN BILLU PAPA CALLED ME BONGU AND WHEN PAPA CALLES ME MAU and now the names have changed! NOW THEY CALL ME 'MOTU' AND BELIEVE ME I LOVE TO HEAR THAT!

Papa's Nana Ji
Then about my great grandfather (papa's nana ji) (papa's maternal grandpa), he was in the British Indian Army. His name was Bawa Saini. He was also a very hardworking and modern thinking man as he raised my dadi and her brothers and sisters at a time when having girls was considered to be bad luck.

Mumma's Dada Ji
Next, I'll write about, my mumma's paternal grandpa (mumma's dada ji). He was a police officer. He also worked so hard to raise his seven children. I never met him but just saw his photograph.

My Nana Ji
I loved my maternal grandpa (my nana ji). I used to call him every Fathers' Day to wish. Whenever my mumma would scold me hard, I would call him to complain about her and then when he scolded her (just in a joking manner to make me feel happy), I felt so relieved that someone is there who is always there for me and never scolds me. NEVER DID HE EVER SCOLD ME FOR ANYTHING. He was such a good person. At night, I have dreams of him hugging me tight and saying everything will be alright.

Mumma's Nana Ji
I do not know much about my mumma's maternal grandpa (nana ji) but I know that he worked really hard to educate his children, one of them becoming a nurse in those times and she was my nani ji (maternal grandma).

SEE FATHERS WORK SO HARD FOR US. THOUGH THEY NEVER SHOW THAT OPENLY BUT WE CAN ALWAYS FEEL THAT THREAD OF CONNECTION.

I WROTE THIS POEM ABOUT FATHERS WHICH GOT PUBLISHED IN MY SCHOOL'S ANNUAL SCHOOL MAGAZINE. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT AND UNDERSTAND ITS DEEP MEANING ...

HAPPY FATHERS' DAY TO ALL THE SUPER DADS !!!

Lost Lives

LOST LIVES

When the bullet pierced my body,
I didn't feel its pain.
Even when my vessels burst,
I didn't feel the pain.

I felt the pain
only when, only when
my friends, you
died without a reason.

I didn't know
that my end is near.
I just knew
that my country needed me.

I wanted to meet my family
for one last time.
You didn't even tell them
about your next step.

Today my family is crying
and yours too
but they feel proud of me
but not of you.

I can't see the sad and miserable faces of the martyrs' family members. Every drop of tear from their eye pierces my heart, it really hurts. My eyes pain. The more I try to stop my tears, the more I feel sad inside. It is very disheartening to see their mothers beating their bosom, their fathers saying they are proud of their sons' sacrifice, their children saying they'll miss them and become like them in the future and their village missing them and being proud of them. Please pray for the martyrs' souls to rest in peace, their martyrdom not to go waste and also their families to keep faith in God. People are ending their lives because of depression, that is nothing. Yes, that is nothing. Even when you die, you should die with a satisfaction that you did something in life and not simply lived the life of amoeba. You need to have a purpose in life. Those soldiers had and even those with depression. The difference only was that the former fought till their last breath but the latter gave up. I always say overthinking is lethal. Depression is the continuous flow of trash thoughts. Even I get sad and sometimes very sad because of many people but I never give up because I know my tomorrow is my own and no one can steal it from me. What I can't do today, I can do it tomorrow but I don't have those 'trash thoughts'. Whenever I feel like that, I watch TV, write poems, blogs to share my feelings, see my plants or talk to my pet. These activities are stress busters for me. You have a chance but the soldiers don't. I admire them and their families greatly. They are so brave and courageous. They see the enemy, they don't get scared. You see a problem in life and you get scared. They miss their families but their Mother India comes first. You don't even talk to your families and think about the nation, that it needs you. Remember, a country always needs each and every of her citizen. Even the loss of a single one accounts to the loss of the country. ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA. You come in the form of humans just once, just once, just once. Whenever you feel like the end is near, always think about your parents, that with how many hardships they raised you and today you are not only ending your life, you are ending a part of that every individual's life with whom you are connected. I'll be sharing a few effective tips to cope with stress in the next Tuesday Talks.

I WILL BE SATISFIED IF THIS IS READ EVEN BY A SINGLE PERSON PROPERLY. THIS IS NOT FOR POPULARITY BUT ONLY FOR EXPRESSING MY FEELINGS. IT'S UP TO YOU TO SHARE. WHENEVER I HEAR ANY NEWS ABOUT THE SOLDIERS, I ALWAYS FEEL VERY EMOTIONAL. I HOPE THIS BLOG POST HELPS AND REACHES TO THE PERSON WHO REALLY NEEDS THIS.

I AM SPEECHLESS...

Tuesday Talks #2 - THE YEAR 2020

Tuesday Talks #2 - THE YEAR 2020

Delete 2020...why 2020...rubbish 2020..._____ 2020
...and what not the human population on Earth is speaking about 2020!

I would say, "Just chill dude, it's just a period of time and time passes, it flies, whether good or bad.".

You should say, "Oops coronavirus!" and not "What if I am down with this disease?".

COVID-19...coronavirus...riots...board exams postponed...earthquake...cyclone...locust attack...migration by daily wage workers...suicides and deaths of various artistes...AFTER ALL THIS, WE ARE LIKE, " W H A T ? ! ? !   I S   H A P P E N I N G ".

|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|°|

#1: If you are worried about the rising COVID-19 cases in India and are afraid of it, just think about the population of India (เคธเคตा เคธौ เค•เคฐोเคก़ เคฆेเคถเคตाเคธी !), it is 135.26 crores (2018) and there are just over 3 lakh COVID-19 cases in India which are not even more than 1% of the total population of India. Every year 151 thousand people die of road accidents in India but no one is afraid to drive their vehicles on road. Why? why? why?! That's because they follow the rules. (I know some fools don't because they think that being cool is more important than their life). So why are we afraid this time when there are slightly over 9k deaths (May their souls rest in peace) in the country because of coronavirus. Why can't we again follow the rules and save our own life ? 97% of the things you worry about don't even happen.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

#2: For those whose board exams have been postponed like me (I know it's very sad and frustrating to study the same material again and again and study the next class' syllabus side by side). Always think everything happens for your own good and there is something very big and great in God's store for you. I fortuitously came across this video of one of the most inspiring persons (for me). It's really inspiring...watch...it will really motivate you...yes, it motivated me too! (a rhyme!)

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

#3: Cyclones, earthquakes, locust attacks, why these then? I think nature is in a mood of revenge. It has feelings. From the time, I heard about Kalki, the Horse, I always had these thoughts..." the kali yuga has come...that means Kalki will be born...that means the end of the world...that means time to unite with God...that means starting of a new age...and many other things (what should I say mmm...mythical things ???) I love studying each and every religion of the world and when I hear anything negative I just imagine a flame in front of me, a water drop as The Supreme Soul and say "help, help, help" and that instant I feel everything's ok. It really pacifies my mind. Just think 'Ek Onkar" (There is only one God).

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

#4: Many people are ending their lives themselves. I would say humans have no control over this. The person who does suicide (very sorry to use such a negative word here) is not a weak person or weak mind, he or she is simply "the left out one", what I mean by this is that the world does not give proper attention and opportunities to their talents. So it is 'not self-murder but it is societal murder'. Nepotism is the biggest cause of this. Even I have experienced that. When you know something is made for you and you are the right person for that but it goes to someone else just because of nepotism and favouritism, it hurts. When you are capable but nobody remembers you, it hurts. So what will a person do if not ending his or her life? Always remember not every successful person is happy. I know we have lost many good and talented actors this year but it was God's wish. Depression is nothing. It is just the trash of thoughts filled by the trash people of society.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

#5: I wrote a poem for the daily wage workers who are migrating. It is really sad to see, hear and read about them in the newspapers. Their condition is pitiful. I know I am simply showing my concern towards them by writing poems and not really help. They won't get any help from me like that but I just penned down my thoughts 'cause I was really sad. I hope God helps them. I pray for them, please you also pray. (If you want to read that poem, you can tell me in the comment section, I'll post it within a few days). We are asking when will we go out of our homes but they are asking when will we reach our homes?

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

#6: The good things in 2020 are also many. Decreased pollution, invigorated nature, close tied families, holidays for the whole family together and much, much more. You also tell me the good and positive phases of "The Year 2020" in the comments. You remember we said, "Happy New Year 2020" to each other, I am sure God won't deny the wishes of billions of His children.

If you read the whole post, I am sure, you felt positive. Don't curse 2020 or rather anything or anyone because what you do or think comes back to you (karma boomerangs!). What you sow, shall you reap.

Question time: What positive did you find around you in 2020?

The Dream Last Night

The Dream Last Night

You know I had a dream last night.
The screen was not very bright.
I was in the temple of  'Temple Run'.
Swinging from creeper to creeper, I had a lot of fun.
No! I was not running fast,
just then behind me, Harry Potter passed!
Then I saw a big, black spider holding some text
You must have guessed what happened next.
Yes! Peter Parker came there with a fan
and then he became Spider-Man!
With the fan, he blew away the big, black spider!
When I said, "Thank you.", he said I am not an outsider.
Then suddenly, I started flying towards the sky.
Harry Potter and Spider-Man said goodbye.
I don't know what was following the long tread
but then I found myself on my bed!
I was sad for I couldn't take an autograph
but then I heard God's hidden telegraph,
He said every dream has a purpose,
not everything is true on the surface.
Your dream taught you to
kick out the ado
and grab the opportunity
to help the community.
I enjoyed the dream a lot, did you?
so thought of sharing it with you!

Tuesday Talks - Top 5 games to enhance your vocabulary

Hey Buddies! Welcome to "Tuesday Talks" where every Tuesday I will be sharing very fascinating talks about anything and everything. You can ask me any question, any random questions. Also, you can suggest the topic for next Tuesday. In the end, I will also ask an interesting question. The one who gives the most creative and correct answer first will get a surprise. For this Tuesday the topic is Top 5 games to enhance your vocabulary.

1. HANGMAN
I love playing Hangman with my friends and family. It is popular in my region as 'Bollywood' where one has to complete the name of a movie by filling the empty dashes where only the vowels are provided. This game is slightly different. In this game, there are as many numbers of dashes as the number of alphabets in the sentence but there will be no help in the form of vowels. A person will get 10 chances until the drawing of the man is completed in 10 steps. It is your choice if you wish to choose a particular genre. It can be played by using a pen and paper, online or any app and by as many numbers of people either as single players or as a team.
......................................................................................................................................................................

2. WORDS WITHIN WORDS
You all must have played this. In this game, a single word is given and the players have to make as many new words as they can from the given word but the words made should be meaningful and no word should be repeated.
......................................................................................................................................................................

3. GOOGLE WORD COACH
Google Word Coach is another fabulous, I must say, an excellent game. You can search for Google Word Coach on Google and it will show you something like the above image. It makes you practise your vocabulary. You even get your scores. In the end, even the correct answers are provided. You can also save it on the home screen of your phone. So next time when you are free, try this.
......................................................................................................................................................................

4. CROSSWORD PUZZLE
We all have played this game also. It is a very common thing to be seen in most of the newspapers. It requires a lot of attention and memory power. In this game, you have to complete the crossword puzzle by fitting your answers to the questions in the puzzle.
......................................................................................................................................................................

5. WORD SEARCH
This game has been, probably, played by everyone. You have to find the words given from the scrambled word board. It is a very good practice of spellings.
......................................................................................................................................................................

BONUS : WORD OF THE DAY + CHARADES
You can even play these games.

Question Time : What is the longest word that you can type with the alphabets present in the first row of the computer keyboard ? Good Luck !

Bye-Bye Gravity !

BYE-BYE GRAVITY!

Sometimes I think

if gravity would, one day, disappear

what would happen?

(though it is previously not clear)

We already can't see gravity

and in its absence, everywhere ambiguity.

People would be flying in every village and city.

Students would hop to reach their school and university.

Then would I drink or eat water?

Every parent would be shuttling to catch their son and daughter.

My hair would be a total mess.

How would I, on Earth play chess?

Hey! What about the upside-down flame of fire?

Aeroplane pilots would have to soon retire.

What about the plants and trees?

They would be enjoying in the cool-cool breeze.

Then what would we play to quench our minds' thirst?

Oh yes! Who will reach Mt. Everest first!

What else will happen,

I can well imagine

but to write it on paper

will take a millennium!

ZERO GRAVITY ZONE!

Today is World Environment Day !

Today is World Environment Day !

A tree or a building ?
A flower or a jewel ?
A fruit or an ice cream ?
A herb or a chemical ?
A seed or a phone ?

We need all but with a balance. Excess or deficit is always bad. So let us pledge this environment day to at least plant one seed and take care of it. Let us give seeds to our friends instead of sweets on our birthday. Believe me, it's magical because I did it !

This is Hari, an aloe vera plant, planted by me (of course, my mom helped!)
This is Hari, my aloe vera plant, planted by me (and of course my mommy helped).

I planted it in a plastic bottle and made it smile. ๐Ÿ˜„

POEM TIME !!!

No physics book can teach me
what a tree can.
No chemistry book can teach me
what a cloud can.
No biology book can teach me
what a pet can.
No history book can teach me
what a rock can.
No geography book can teach me
what a forest and a land can.
No maths book can teach me
what a butterfly can.
No language book can teach me
what a shower of rain can.
No computer book can teach me
what a seed can.
No art book can teach me
what a mountain and a flower can.
No economics book can teach me
what a river can.
No literature book can teach me
what discovery channel can !
No law book can teach me
what nature can.
No subject book can teach me
what my beautiful environment can.
